About us
Our commitment to your absolute comfort starts at the top. General Manager Mark Shelton and Service Manager Ed Hillen focus on making sure every one of Absolute Comfort’s technicians are kept up-to-date with current technology. Before a truck leaves the Absolute Comfort yard, we confirm they have the tools needed to keep your HVAC system running efficiently. That’s the only way we can promise to deliver what it says on the side of our trucks: Absolute Comfort.
Mark Shelton
Mark Shelton has seen many advances in technology during his HVAC career. Back in 1983, Absolute Comfort had one technician. By 1987 there were five. Now, Absolute Comfort has 16. Before becoming Absolute Comfort’s General Manager, Mark worked for seven air conditioning companies.
Mark took the best ideas from each and brings them together to provide customers with dependable service. When they’re not solving your problems, Mark makes sure his technicians invest time training in the Absolute Comfort training center.
Mark finds satisfaction helping customers. He does so with a simple rule: take care of customers the way he’d want his family taken care of. Although he still holds his air conditioning license and is North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certified, Mark focuses on managing day-to-day operations and training at Absolute Comfort.
Ed Hillen
Ed Hillen loves to solve problems. In 1972, he saw glaring problem, the high heat and humidity in Houston. Difficulties his customers face with their air conditioning systems gave him the passion for the business.
Ed started as a technician and worked for four different companies before coming to Absolute Comfort in 1988. He showed promise and in just five years became the service manager, his current post.
Ed has North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification and spends a great deal of his time training new and current technicians. But his No. 1 job is making sure customers get the service customers know they can expect from Absolute Comfort.
