We called a couple of 24-hour service companies before we called Absolute Comfort. Both told us we had to buy parts at the store and they would send someone to install it. Then we called Absolute Comfort. Your customer service agent took our information and sent out a technician. The technician picked up the parts at the store and came out to install them. He spent three hours until 11 p.m. fixing the system and took the time to make sure the system was working correctly. We rarely take the the time to pass along compliments, but your people did more than just their job. They did it with spirit you don't often find.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my satisfaction and tremendous workmanship demonstrated by your technician. I have just had a new air conditioning unit installed at my house, after years of discomfort and high-energy cost. Your technician visited my home and took his time to evaluate the needs. He also discussed the details about each and every energy efficiency ratings of A/C units. He recommended the American Standard brand and also recommended some duct changes required, making the high efficiency unit perform to his standards. It's been about 10 months the unit is operating. I have already saved a tremendous amount of savings, about $70-$90 a month. The technician has also come out to do several check ups to make sure the unit is running correctly.
A check for a $19.95 service charge is enclosed. Your service technician replaced the compressor fan motor on my American Standard air conditioning unit, which is under warranty. I'm sending the check because your technician wouldn't accept it. Let me explain.... Unfortunately, a misunderstanding occurred about the service charge. First, I needed to sign the invoice to the manufacturer, verifying it was correct. So I insisted the technician fill in certain information (parts replaced, work performed). Then I questioned the service charge, since the unit is under warranty. In brief, your technician seemed somewhat offended and wouldn't accept the $19.95 when I offered it. However, I understand how he felt, and he was courteous and professional. Plus, he did an excellent job.
